I was driving today, not far from home, pushed the clutch pedal in and the clutch would not disengage. I can drive the truck, but no pedal. I can pump the pedal up but it does not disengage the clutch. I can find no leaks and the reservoir is full. Is the clutch pedal system part of the 5 year/100K warranty?

The clutch is a touchy subject when it comes to warranty. The dealer can always say it will be under warranty at first, and then they get in there and they will say it's "owner abuse" and make you pay for taking it apart! If it is a hydraulic failure, there should be no reason why it should be under coverage by warranty.

Clutch warranty

Clutch is only warranted for 12 months 12,000 miles and is not warranted against normal wear and tear. Check your warranty book. Probably the pilot bearing or else a broken center hub spring. Ken Irwin

I think it is a hydraulic failure. I have remove the unit. Apparently it is one piece. There was a small leakage at the master cylinder. Maybe a sign of failure. I called Dodge and they said it was not under warranty. I hope this is the problem, a quick fix for only $200 +. There were no other symptoms. The pedal simply would not disengage the clutch.
