Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Well, I exploded my clutch last week.
I had it towed to the dealer
It was NOT covered under warrenty
The dealer was going to install the same OEM cluthc back at $1200+
I got smart and did some research
I sent and email and talked to peter at south bend clutch
He ups red a new clutch HD assembly and the dealer installed it.
If works great!!!!
I am going to give it a good work out this weekend and tow 8K to oregon. I have to recommend peter and south bend clutch for the promptness and superior service!
I also have to thank TDR even though I do not have a diesel
I have learned a exteme amount about my truck and lots of fixes.
It is the best $35 bucks I spent. I have decided when I resore my 53 GMC it will have a 4bt and NOT the 6cyl. gas. I also have a new kubota diesel and It does definetly rock.
My only mistake on my 99 dodge was I did not buy the diesel. I will NOT make that mistake again.
