I have a 2002 2500 that I had a Mitchell DD installed in about 30-40K mile ago and recently I noticed that it doesn't engage till the last 1" or so of the pedal release. Is this a sign its worn down enough that the discs are barely engaging at the top of the pedal throw? I've had it so long I don't remember if it was like this when it was new, but remember on another thread someone mentioning this happening with the cerametallic clutches, they wear enough of the flywheel away that the pressure plate is essentially losing clamping power. I was just wondering if I should be worried, I have a couple pulls I want to go to this summer, but don't want to if my clutch is almost worn out. Is there a way to adjust this so the clutch engages half way from the floor? One last note, it hasn't slipped... . ever, even with TST Pm3 on 9 and Comp box on 5x4. It still holds like new, am I just worrying too much?
Thanks
Jeremy
