Hi all,

Just had my clutch replaced with a new southbend rally. I really like the way it feels. One problem now the heated seat on the drivers side does not work. Does the wiring go through the center console? Could it be as simple as a loose wire that is easy to fix myself. I would hate to leave my ram at the transmission shop for another day so they could fix it. All help appreciated.

Thanks

Jim

In my case, the wires in the bottom portion of the seat had come "unglued". They are put together kind of cheesy from the factory but are relatively easily repaired with some solder. The repair should be relatively intuitive but the play-by-play of how to disassemble and do the repair with a foam upgrade for the seat bottom is written up. It will probably show up if you search the forums but the hard copy description is in issue #35 as best I remember it. Hope this helps.
