At some point in the not-too-distant future, I'll be needing to upgrade the clutch in my '02 to something like the SBC Con OFE - but am totally unfamiliar with trustworthy shops in my area - hopefully with direct experience with these clutches and Dodges - any info out there from others making this install in my area?

(EDIT!)

Dang it, put this in the wrong forum - moderater, feel free to move it to the proper place - sorry...

BPine (tdr name) is is San Jose and has an excellent reputation for installing anything on diesels. I recommend him.

Blane also has hookups on site for trailers and there are some beautiful things to see in that area as well. Lots of lakes to go fishing

"Gary, how many miles on your stock clutch?"

Currently I have nearly 23,000 miles - clutch started slipping at about 14,000 miles, but only while towing out 5th wheel up steeper grades in OD - the engine handles it fine, but down about 1700 RPM and when boost hits, it's all over... ;)

That's WAS with the Comp on 5x5, but now it will slip on anything above 1x2 or so, even empty if I'm on a grade...

Thanks for all info so far - glad to hear Ken Imler does clutch work - dynoed there a couple of times in past few years, and he would likely be my first choice...
