clutch slave cylinder

My clutch pedal is releasing closer and closer to the floor. The master cylinder has plenty of fluid but it seems the piston is not doing its job starting at the top. Is the combo unit going bad? I replaced one on my other truck but I think it went bad all at once. It was a few years ago. Anyway if it is on the way out, I want to get one ordered. What do you think? Thanks.

Now see My clutch is releasing higher than it use to... Any one know wwhat the warning sign is that the clutch is nearing the end of it's life???

a worn clutch, i believe, shows it self by the pedal releasing high, the friction zone is near the top of the pedal. the low release, friction zone on the bottom of the pedal sounds more like a leaky slave cylinder or a hydraulic issue.
