I seem to have developed a squeak when depressing the clutch that is intermittent at this point. It seems more prevalent when it is cold outside. Is this a cable that can be lubricated, or is it a sealed cable? The truck has 28K, and runs great. Just the squeak is annoying at times. Any ideas??

There have been several posts about this. The solution is white spray grease. Spray it on the various moving parts under the dash.

Work great on my truck.

Check if there is any brake fluid  on the top of your pedal. If there is any fluid on the sponge on top, your master is about to let go. Check for any fluid before you spray grease on it.

Mine does the same thing. If I turn the heater on high for a minute the squeak will go away for a day or two. I am too lazy to climb under the dash.

... Am I the only one that can't get under the dash enough to spray my cable? I've tried two times and I usually end up with a Charlie horse in my shoulder and WD-40 all over the place.
