I got the bombs, and the clutch is next, but now it has me thinking..... If I have to go to a 13" Con-o for a 6 speed and the next weak link is the NV4500 5th gear nut and 1 1/4" input shaft, I might just bite the bullet and swap out for a late model NV5600. Man, I would like to do it all just once and get it over with. All this truck does is pull and I REALLY don't want to go in debt for a new one since she is paid off.

The three outfits that have my attention are 1. ) Bluminthals 2. ) Standard Transmission and 3. ) Drivetrain Specilists in Las Vegas... Guess where I live... Las Vegas. Does anyone have any info on this place, good or bad. It would be nice to have a recommendation on them. If it worked out, it would be great to have them in my back yard.

Also, from you who have done this, what are the pitfalls and do you think the "Pain is worth the Pleasure" as they say...

Thanks, Paul... .

I've had all my 4x4 drive train work done there. They'll be my first choice when it's time for my SBC.
