Can anyone tell me what color the wire is for the clutch switch on a 2004. I have an automatic, but I understand that the wire for the switch is in the harness. I would like to wire in a kill switch.

Dave,

If you are referring to the wire for a truck with a manual transmission, what you want to look for is a connector on the inside firewall around the grommit were the clutch master cylinder would mount. The connector will have another connector pluged into it with a short jumper connecting the two leads. Cut the jumper and splice in your kill switch.

what is this ?? A 2nd gen response to a 3rd gen question/the question asked, is from stated automatic, 2nd gen response is from a standard/ what... C'mon

The plug with a jumper is on the auto, the manual has a switch. The answer posted by n7gxz is correct for both 2nd and 3rd gen.
