when i take off in 1st or 2nd my truck is fine but when i shift into 3rd 4th or 5th the engine revs for a sec like its not hooked to the transmission or something... ... after the half sec rev its lik eit catches and runs like a speedin bullet... ... could this be my clutch, rear end, or what? i thought it could be my clutch slipping but i dont wanna spend the cash til i know... . any in puts appreciated... thanks

Sounds like the clutch to me. I didn't see a signature so I cant say what South Bend Clutch you sould run, but it should be a South Bend Clutch. ;)

need a clutch for sure. i can make mine do the same but try not to. i have a brand new sb clutch and 5th gear fix waiting to go in. just havn't had the time.

Sorry guys... . its a 98 3500 qaud cab 3500 the stock plate is slid forward and i have a non wastegated turbo straight pipe exhaust and ranchhand bumpers are the only mods... ... . the clutch in it is the stock dodge one it should have 101000 miles on it... . what kinda clutch should i get? i dont pull its my daily driver i just like to go too fast and pull a trailer every once in a while

just call southbend and they will tell you the one you need. with your mods it's going to be the one that they sent me. can't remember the number on it. good luck

If you DON'T plan on upgrading to a high HP plate or injectors than a Con O will work for you (stock-to-400HP).

If you plan on a torque plate and injectors like I'm running then you will need a Con OFE.

You can get either at www.southbendclutch.com

Later this summer I will probably look into switching to a SBC. My TST is too grabby for me:{

I can wait till I pull a trailer with it! :-laf
