We are here, arrived about 6. 30pm. Unloading truck, will swing by.

Almost home, have driven steady since dropping Shadrach off at CERAland after the pulls about 10. 30pm last night. We are in Bangor now, have an hour left to go.

Moose are out, bugs are driving them crazy. Just passed one mess where a Penske box truck smacked one in the left lane and killed it, carcass slid into right lane where at least four cars hit it right after.

Try not connect with any if we can help it...

Mike.

Mike, I hope you and Seth made it home OK? It was good seeing both of you at the rally. We are still at Ceraland and leaving to go to Indy to tour the Speedway today and then leaving for home on Tuesday. The camp ground is almost empty maybe two or three of us still here.

Again greet to meet you and your son along with some other great people from The TDR community.

Jim,

It was a pleasure meeting you and your wonderful (tolerant of diesel freaks) wife, along with everyone else. It is nice to put a face with the names on here.

We rolled into my driveway about 11. 30pm last night, Seth got his stuff out of the truck, loaded it into Gizmo and headed for his house. He lives about 10 minutes away.

Getting coffee into me right now and reading a weeks worth of company e-mails, makes me want to get right back in the truck and return to Indiana.....

We accumulated 2800 miles or so on the truck, that is the trip out, trip back and the running around in Columbus. Lie-O-Meter showed MPG numbers as high as 24mpg at some points, in reality we hand calculated right around 19. 5mpg for the trip. I'll take that anyday for an 8,000lb truck running at 70mph.

Enjoy the Speedway!!

Mike.

After seeing all of the smoke Saturday night I thought that this photo would be appropriate... .
