Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) code help

I got a P-PCU code in my odometer window, could someone tell me what that is. Thanks

Is it safe to assume you cycled the ignition key: ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON and saw this code?

If yes, it simply means any 4 digit "P" OBDII trouble codes which follow originate in the PCM (Powetrain Control Module). Presumably "PCU" (for Powertrain Control Unit) is displayed in the odometer window because it's not capable of displaying an "M".

If no codes follow, then none are stored.
