Code P0106 when towing, did a search, no help found

I have an 08 with full deletes, both egr and exhaust, using a MiniMaxx. This code only shows up when pulling my 5th wheel. I have already replaced the MAP sensor with no change. I have removed the foam "muffler" from the air intake tube which is otherwise stock. I have also replaced the airhorn with an aftermarket unit and also deleted the butterfly valve. This code started after these changes were made. I'm getting full boost when accelerating hard so I don't suspect a boost leak, but I'm no expert so who knows.



I have done a search but found no helpful info.



Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

I did a google search: Cummins P0106 here is what i found (CumminsForum)

i had the same problem, changed the turbo speed sensor and never had it again.
The turbo speed sensor

If you get from a dealership ($300) its 68039104aa. If you get it from Cummins ($169) its 4032316.
Hope that helps!

Thanks Rooster, I'll keep this in mind. I just wonder why it only started after my deletes and upgrades.
