Thanks, TDR Staff

Truck won’t start normally

Brakelights stay on

I jut bought this truck so the way home it was fine, but yesterday when I got on freeway the truck did not responde even if I push all the gas, revolutions were 1500. No power.

Got these codes

P0191
P0087
P0087
P226B
P0087

Any advice is welcome.

Thanks

Most the codes are related to the rail pressure sensor and the 226B code is turbo issues. Did you buy from dealer or private? Did you do an aggresive test drive before pulling the trigger?

Well like try changing the fuel filter like Ed said above for start, thanks and welcome to TDR Cummins experts!

Private. I have to be honest, I don't know how to do an aggresive test... I did a normal test before buy it, everything was good. Last friday I drove the truck for 2 hrs 1/2 on freeway, 1/2 hr in the city back home with no problem. Next day started failing on freeway, I took off the Diesel Fuel Pressure Relief Valve and seal looked to be out of position, I put it back and it's not doing the fail for the last 2 days.
