I jumped into my truck this morning and noticed that the check engine light was on. I immediately did the key trick to check code(s) and P0191 had been thrown. I've read in the only other (P0191) thread on this board that P0191 = Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Range/Performance. Is this something that I should be concerned about?

My truck has only 1800 miles on it and is completely stock. What would cause something like this to happen?

Thanks in advance...

Mark

Mine just threw that same code today after starting it. My brother-in-law has a ODB handheld and was able to determine the code was the P0191. I called my dealership and asked my mechanic there about it. He said he's only worked on another truck with this code and he ended up having to replace the sensor. Also, that it was okay to drive it in the meantime. I am taking it in to him on Monday.

By the way, what is the key trick?

Checking for Codes

Turn key to start position three times, but not starting the engine, on,off, on, off, etc. It will say "done" on odometer than show blanks or a code letter, number. Showing "blanks" means no code thrown. :D
