Code P0236

[F-15I Ra'am]

Been getting code P 0236 {turn the key 3 times method} for about the past month. Now when I try bringing up codes {turn the key etc. } just shows the odometer reading, tried checking the hour meter and I get: C - Code, then after that : 00 00 . Reason I had been checking the codes was surging with my Quad box which stopped after I disconnected the box , a couple of days later I put dialectric grease on all the connections and hooked it back up. Its been running fine, no surging just this deal with the codes. Any ideas?

Sounds like your truck got the error code for whatever reason, then if the problem no longer exists the CEL light goes out after 5 or so starts and then after around 40 starts the code is cleared completely, if everything is running good and it has no codes stored I would not worry about it.
