Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Code P0341 help

Anytime I have to get quick and hard on the brakes my engine will stumble, the tach goes to zero, and the MIL comes on. This all happens in the span of about 1 second. After a few starts the MIL will go out. I checked the code and P0341 is set. I looked up the definition and can't figure out the connection between hard braking and the code being set. The truck seems to run fine at all other times. I cleared the code with a basic scan tool. I got under the hood and with the engine running I pulled, tugged, and shook the wires to the cam sensor and the harness to the ECM but no code was set. To me, that ruled out inertia possibly shorting a wire. I'm at a loss. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

it sounds to me it may be time for a new one, its worth a shot !

Something similar happen to m, and strange enough, it was the MAP sensor that was damaged, I think it was turbo bark maybe. I tried to trouble shoot over a few weeks, eventually, the dealer solve it while it was still under warranty.
