code PO191

Today i noticed my 04 has the PO191 code in it,does anyone know what causes it ? The truck has an EZ,boost fooler and fass pump. Thanks in advance for any help.

Are you certain it's 0191? That code isn't listed in the 2003 manual (which should be the same for 2004).

Fuel rail pressure performance, unhook the edge and see if the light goes away after awhile.

Thanks mopartech. Do you think it is a bad box,or is this a common problem?

most likely it is caused by the box because the ez is a pressure box, it probably just set the pressure too high a couple of times and the computer didn't like it, do you get on it a lot and let off real quick? that will spike the rail pressure pretty easy.

Thanks again, i cleared the code . I'll drive it some and check it again, just wanted to make sure it wasn't a big problem.

FWIW, Iv had that same code three times on my bone stock 05.

Thew first time the dealer said it was a bad sensor and replaced it.

The last two times they just cleared the code.

Its been a while since they did that and I havent had it again.
