Code Reader for 1993 d250

Okay,



While I'm a computer consultant, I'll admit that trying to fish out codes from my truck seems to be black magic. It didn' help when, while scrounging around the local WalMart I saw a Chrysler code reader. Looks like the damn thing plugs into my Cig. Lighter. Cost - about $30 Canadian.



Next row down there is a duplicate to the Chrysler Code reader, for 5 bucks. Looks identical, but no enclosed book. Are they the same????

Turn the ignition switch on and off 3 times real fast and count the flashes on the message center. Codes are in the Dodge manual. Let us know what you find and we can tell you the fault based on the code.
