I noticed that the truck would stumble when I stepped on it hard. It sounded like it was missing

Checked the codes and found P0628.

Does this mean that the pump is going Bad. I have 91186 miles on the original Pump.

Can you hear the pump running, and what's it sound like? With that P0628 code I would believe you are most likely correct thinking it is time for your replacement pump to be installed.

When installing the new pump to the back of the fuel filter canister, put some light oil on the o-ring of the new pump, and do not force the pump straight in, you can damage the o-ring, kind of rock the pump back and forth while applying pressure, you will feel it snap in place.

I replaced the pump with one from Geno's . Runs good now ... .

Sure hope that it lasts much longer than the one I bought did.
