My 1998. 5 24 valve, 191k, is starting, idling and running fine. Did a new remote lift pump 1 year ago. No problems since other than replaced APPS 4 months ago.

What might I be looking at with the 0463 and 0251 codes ? I prefer to drive it and forget it. :-laf

Thanks,

David

there is a code list in the faq section i dont have my book with me right now i can look latter if you havent found them

P0463 Fuel Level Sending Unit Volts Too High

Fuel level sensor input above acceptable voltage.

P0251 (M) Fuel Inj. Pump Mech. Failure Fuel

Valve Feedback Circuit

Problem sensed with fuel circuit internal to fuel injection

pump.

Thanks.

I'm okay with "Fuel level sensor input above acceptable voltage". The fuel gauge has had a mind of its own for the 3 years I've owned it.

OTOH, with "Problem sensed with fuel circuit internal to fuel injection

pump" I'd like to hear that I'm not on the verge of VP44 failure. I thought those puppies just quit all of a sudden.

Any more advice / info on P0251?

Thanks!
