I have a 2011 3500 with 10500 miles on it and the CEL came on and there are now two codes that I can bring up on the dash is P-0606 it is Internal Control Processor is the code infor that I found but have no Idea what that is and the 2nd one is P-016A and it is a ETC level 2 torque Performance what does that mean I have no idea so any help would be great.

Here's a link to the P-0606, looks like maybe the PCM/ECM has gone bad.

Looking at he DTC library in the scan tool software I have a P016 comes up as

"Crankshaft Position - Camshaft Position Correlation - Bank 1 Sensor A"

I'd read this as a crankshaft position sensor error.

Alldata doesn't have full '11 info up yet, but on an 09 the p0606 can be caused by engine or fuel modifications that exceed oem spec, or by a glitch in the ECM.

The p016a I'm not sure of, but it sounds like your ECM wigged out. Reset the codes and see if they come back, or just take it to the dealer and let them worry about it.

A trip to a dealer with a good service department is in order.

I hope you have not attached a magic black box.

I think I will be taking it to the dealer and let them worry about it. I haven't done any mods to it. thanks for the help I will keep everyone up too date

Thanks for everything

Don't worry about it. It is not a huge surprise for the early ones of each generation to have a few initial problems. Software changes and minor parts replacements normally fix it.

We've seen more than a couple '11 trucks die on the lot between PDI and delivery, requiring ECM replacement.
