My truck was coding PO 121 and the throttle quite working so i clean the connecters on the throttle positioning sensor and put it back to together now it gives PO 122, 123, 222. And the throttle does not work at all now. Even after the codes have been erased. What could be the problem?

oiil gauge and mil lamps

i have a 2006 ram , oil lights and gauge showed plenty of oil till it was 8. 5 qts low wore 1 rod bearing , wouldnt you think there crap gauge should have shown some pressure fluctuations before i wiped a rod an piston pin out ? cummins tech said the light should have come on at 4 to 5 quarts down and savee damage ? anybody else care to comment on dodges ability to say i should have kept oil in motor , ? there gauges ; on every turbo vehicle i have owned , came with a 2 QUART LOW warning lite , but dodge figures they dont need or have to have a good gauge or even an idiot mil light to come on or trace back for ,,like toyota they dont want to show any culpibility on there guarrantee !

Never trust the idiot gauge just like our daddy told us not to trust the idiot light in out 60's car. Sorry to hear that. You have to take some responsibility.

Have to agree with p-Bar, no excuse for not noticing any oil leaks, unusual smoke, or occasionally opening the hood and checking the oil with the factory provided dipstick.

Caveat - you developed a massive leak and the truck bled out over a singe non stop trip. That will be tough to prove if it is the case.

JLandry I got on a sencer from TBM and works great and I got it in two days. It was easy to follow instructions only took about 20 min. Thanks for the info. -- Harry
