Look in the yellow pages for a Fleet Pride truck parts store near you. They are Fleetguard dealers. They can get any filter in a day at the most if they don't have one in stock.

Oil filter

Ok guys, I tried another truck shop and they also didn't have it. It is the one Genos lists as the Stratopore LF-16035. It is different from the previous generations. Check your own and if you can use a LF-3552, I'll give it to you. It isn't worth my time and diesel to drive it back there and deal with those bozos again. If not, I'll leave it with TQT and maybe someone will come in one day that can use it. Mark, go ahead and get one, and I'll pay you for it when I get there. I guess I can stay another day and leave here on Sat. So we can expect to change my oil, check the diff. fluids, check tire pressure, and rotate same. If we get to it, we can hook up that last little line to the fuel gage. It's the one that comes off the bottom of the filter housing.

Cool, thanks. Guys, Mark got the filter. I had a set ordered from Genos, just didn't get here in time. I never thought I would have 3700 miles on it in three weeks, either. I didn't think I would need it before I went home. You can tell I never drove a CTD before. I ordered the set of filters without the air filter, since I will be replacing that soon.

Thanks, Tim for the cable. Still can't find that mount set. I think I'll just order it. I can't believe that people don't understand why the mail order business is eating into thier profits. I like to go to the store and get stuff, but when they don't have it, what am I left to do?



By the way, I am staying in Mystic. I checked the phone book and all they had listed for auto parts was an AutoZone. Big help there. I think they replaced Trash Auto. Lots of ricer stuff. The biggest section in the yellow pages is the Attorney ads. What does that tell you about this place?
