Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) cold air intake

Have any of you fabricated a cold air intake similiar to the one made by Scott Dalgleishshown in issue34,page 68? I am interested in making one for my '01 ho engine. I am curious as to the improvement in mileage and power. Thank you for any info.
