Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) cold air intake

I am looking for information on a cold air intake for my '01. I would like to either purchase or fabricate one. Can anyone help with plans?



01 245 hp; 6spd; club cab; shell;gauges;pac brake

I just put a S&B cold air intake on my 02 HO six speed. I like it preety good I could tell a little more diffrence than what I figured. It's enclosed to keep most of the hot engine air out. Some like the BHAF some others. Every body likes something different.

All depends on how much you want to spend. Jusy my 2 cents.

I can get you a picture of the ones that I am selling here soon if you are interested. I use an Amsoil filter and made a stainless steel heat shield and bracket. pm me if interested.

I am very interested. I am havong a problem with the design and routing. I would prefer to buy a cold air intake rather than build one. Thank you for answering me.

I have had my S&B installed for about 8 months and like it very much.

How much does this set-up increase in-cab noise?

not all that much, you will get a little bit more whistle over the stock air setup, but the increased spoolup and EGT drop is worth it in my opinion.
