I'm going to the dealer tomorrow to have the high idle software installed in my truck. Just wondering if anybody has any problems with this. The truck runs great and maybe I shouldn't screw with it.

High idle

If you live in cold weather areas go get it it done. I had it done two years ago and have had no problems. It makes getting heat on a cold morning, nice and easy.

Makes sure that they disconnect the scan tool after they do the flash and then reconnect it to enable it. If they don't do that, it doesn't enable it.

I love mine, and it hasn't hurt a thing. It has to be bitter cold for the 3 cylinder operation to start, but it does work!

Want to give Kudo's to Fitzgerald Dodge, in Frederick MD. I went in there because my block heater stopped working. I asked about the TSB for cold weather starting while I was there. The service writer knew exactly what I was talking about and performed the flash to the computer under warranty without giving me a hard time.

Oo.

Finally got fed up with the service department at my local Dodge dealer, especially when I would go in and ask about a TSB and he would look at me like I was nuts because he didn't have a clue as to what I was talking about.

Finally refreshing to find a Dodge dealer to take care of my Cummins and seem to be happy about it. :D
