heres the one i made for mine, cheep piece of plexiglass that fits perfectly between the intercooler and radiator, it just slips right in and can be tossed in the bed if it warms up and being plastic won't fall apart in the rain

I can't imagine it gets cold enough to need a cold front in Louisiana WDixon or do travel to places that get cold?

For those of you guys that may not know, if you want better heat faster out of your trucks turn on the AC to high and the temp setting to hot. Works great on mine except it won't defrost your windows since it only runs on the vents facing the occupants.

Or turn on the defroster, which runs the AC... and defrosts the windows

It hits -50f or worse where I live. Screw the $90 cover. I put two peices of cardboard between the intercooler & radiator. Works great, if I tow I remove one side. Did I mention the cardboard was free.

I just made one and installed it last night. 20x36 inches IIRC.

it just gets the heater working faster, sort of annoying to only have heat for the last 10 minutes of a 30 minute interstate drive, it only gets a little below freezing here but the same nasty humidity that makes summer so bad down here also spices up winter, i don't remember upstate newyork feeling as cold as it can on the bayou

Speaking of winter fronts, does anyone have the Kilby's condenser guard and/or the MPC condenser guard installed with a winter front? Do either of the guards interfere or rub against the winter front? I am looking to get both and then install the Mopar winter front; I am curious if there will be any interference?

I have the big black condenser guard that spans the entire front of the condenser. Forget what name it has.

No interference with my Mopar front. No problems at all.

Hi guys,

I'm the one that makes the inserts mentioned above. . I live in the cold weather and you can have these on up to 65 degrees out without heating up. Don't have an ad out right now, just PM me if interrested in a set.

Just wanted to say thanks to EricBu12, I just got his Cold Fronts and they are top notch...

Anyone looking for cold fronts/grille block off's should contact Eric

I just installed the Mopar cold front on mine. I have a Banks intercooler which is a little larger than the stock one, it make hooking the straps a little harder but still fits well. In all my other trucks I did the cardboard thing, which worked very well. This product looks to be made well and hopefully will last for a while , if not I probably make a plexiglass one
