Thanks for all your help. It was indeed the batteries, which leads me to my experience with that. I was out of town when the batteries were changed. My grandsonwho does this work told me that Interstate batteries refused to honor there warranty because the batteries were in a Diesel!!!!!

Have any of you ran into this????

By the way she started right up on one of the coldest nights of the year

BS... class 65 makes no difference what vehicle installed. . we'll we sell allot of interstate bats. . don't except the denial. .

Had a friend who used ether to start a

Diesel LandCruiser for many many years.

When temp got below -10 or so he disconnected

Glow plugs for the winter. Had a firewall mounted

System that metered 10cc of ether at push of button

Engine started beautifully with NO indication ether was used.

Never a problem caused. When he sold truck it had 600k

On it and still going strong... body was shot.

Yep, We used it all the time (UNTIL) Ams raise the Price over the HD 5-30w $8. 00 PG. Now we are using HD 5-30w Ams. I like S-3000 but The $8. 00 PG over HD-5-30w Hmmmmmm.

Well you can say BS, but they wouldn't honor the warranty and they are kicked out of Tires Plus for it. Period... ... .

Send a frigin' e-mail to Interstate Battery Corporate, that is complete B. S. #@$%!

I sell a snotload of batteries and I don't care nor does it matter what they are put into. It is all about the date code to determine age and the printout from the tester to determine battery condition. Full credit with printed "fail" test results for 18 months, then prorated from there. Do not accept that answer without giving Interstate a chance to make it right.
