colorado 5th wheel

I recently purchaced a 2004 colorado 27RL 5th wheel and have a few questions. Does anyone have any knowledge about these rvs. I purchased it "as is"to save a little money but after i got home i noticed some cracks in the front molded plastic cap,one is 5 inches long and one is about 2 inches. I can seperate the crack enough to get my finger in it. Is there an easy fix for these cracks? Thank-you.

Not good, start looking for broken welds or fatigued metal in the frame.

I talked to a few body shops that work on rv's and they said they repair fiberglass fronts quite often,but after showing them my 5th wheel they told me that my molded front piece is plastic and there is really no fix for plastic. What are most of these made of?

Has anyone else noticed cracks on their front caps?
