I've heard that this is not that bad pf a project for one to do. I was thinking that i was going to put mine in myself. It would be a learning experience. But who would go first kevin or Kat. lol But really I bet we could do it. Let me know why you guys are having it done.

Yes its something that we could do ourselves, however there are a couple of reasons we are making the trek to Canada. First off if its installed and setup by the man you built it then how can you go wrong? Secondly, I wanna get the heck out of Nebraska for a while. Thirdly, Kevin's wife wants to get out of Colorado for a lil while. Fourthly, neither of us have been to Canada. Fithly, it sounded like a heckuva plan #ad
Sixthly, it will give us a chance to meet both Bill and Piers (I have met Piers before) As well as the transmission work there are a few other tricks up my sleeve thats going on the truck. Will be done the first full week of February . Your welcome to go for a spin when we get back.

Big A -

Me cause trouble??? I wouldn't dream of it!!! So whats the gameplan for Jan 14th?? Gauges for bot you and Kevin's truck??

<font color=blue>I have noticed alot of "different" people that will be coming to this meeting. Should I aquire some more EZ Edges from Brett to bring along? Anyone interested in playing some more??? Please post here if there is any interest.

Also I believe Kevin and myself will have purchased some software that we can use with a laptop to tap into the OBD II connector to gather info and read DTC codes as well as reset them. Thanks to Cryppie for pointing it out. Also Terry will you be there Jan 14th and will you have access to the scanner you metioned? Just wondering.

Looking forward to Jan 14th!<font size=-2>

Thanx for bringing the post up to date Kat.
Hey, what's all this talk about problems with the EZ. Has Brett said anything about it.
I'm hoping I can get a trailer,so I can try the EZ with a load.
Thanx
Big A

I haven't talked to Brett in a couple of weeks. I have no idea what the trouble is. Mine works fine and Kevin's works fine. I don't tow tho.

When I talk to Brett I'll see what he has to say.

Just remember if you buy an EZ you got 60 days to decide if you like it or not. Why not use that to your advantage? Try it and find some loads to put on it... ..... ????

Kat... When you talk to Brett, make sure you decide if you are going to bring more EZ's for people to try?

LIL A... Trust me. . this EZ box is way worth it. Wait till you get it in your truck to try... he he he... right Kat???

Kev

Hey Kat, I thought you had already upgraded your transmission four or five months ago... from Goerend Brothers? #ad
What's up? Didn't their upgrade work out for you?

... . just wondering.

Yes I went and saw Dave Goerend, and yes I still would tell people to get in touch with him. Hes a wonderful and knowledgable guy. However K_Arts told me he was going to Canada in Feb so i decided what the hell I'll go too. The comments I have read about Bill's TC and VB combo have gotten the best of my curiosity. I wanna see if what everyone says is true. When I went to Dave's we just put a Trans-Go shift kit in it and turned up the line pressure. It works fine for now, but I am ready to add the turbo, manifold, injectors (and put the EZ back on the truck), and quite possibly propane. So i think i better replace the stock converter #ad
Only reason I am going up there is because Kevin is... ..... Hopefully I'll walk away with 425 to 450hp without propane. Thats my goal. Gonna see Bill, gonna see Piers, and prolly swing by Rob's place in Seattle. Me and Kevin are still working out the schedule.

Does that make sense? I am totally satisfied with Dave G. and would gladly tell people to contact him, both Dave and Bill are knowledgeable. I just wanna try it for myself? <font size=-2>
