Wisconsin Meeting

Dave's Diesel Thunder In Muncie

<font color=blue>Banshe -

I tried replying to your email, but it returned it to me twice. I have concluded that in your "account" settings you have your reply to address wrong because it is different then the email you list here.
Listed as "Reply to" : bfloydsprint5@earthlink.net
Your email listed at the TDR : billyafloyd@earthlink.net

Just something you might want to look at and check out.

In regards to your email : Yes one of them will defenitly drop by. Just not sure what time yet, they
are both going to be in Denver anyhow. Only reason they would cancel is due
to weather or something of that nature, but last I heard from Brett one of
them if not both will definatly drop by.

Kat,

We have also been trying to email Bill,
your explination of why this happens helps me a great deal.

Guys send us emails sometimes with no email address and i dont know what to do in that case. Am I doing something wrong?

Bill,/ Banshee

Please call John. 1-800-922-7782,
thanks

Has anyone else had the DTT TC or VB installed yet (in Colorado)? I was talking to John at Pacific Automotive and he mentioned someone in Littleton was asking where to have it done. I found an excellent shop here in C. Springs #ad
, and I found one I wouldn't take the time to spit on #ad
! The good one did my VB in about 2 hrs, also did my 4" exhaust and they handle Amsoil products. If anyone's interested, post to me here, email, or look me up Sunday.

Thanx
"Banshe" Bill

Bill - I will have mine put in on Feb 5th... . whooohoooo can't wait. As far as dealers go here in Colorado to install Bill's equipment. There are none yet. I have talked to Bill K about this and he said that he would work on interviewing companies here.

Also when him and I talked the other day, he offered me the opportunity to help him install my TC and VB so this way I at least know a little bit. So if you are interested maybe we can gather up some guys and get your install done (darn. . that just calls for another RMTDR meeting... ha ha ha)

Kev

Kev,

I already got mine installed back in October. Couldn't find a shop that had done one before, so went lookin'. I ran across several bad ones before I finally found a good one. They do excellent work. I'm gonna talk to the owner tomorrow and see if he's interested in more business from installing Bill K's stuff. I know he spoke to Bill K when he installed mine, but he said they didn't have any problems with the unit so the conversation was short. It's Hurricane Motor Sports, 719-550-0768, 1095 Ford Street in C. Springs. They are a performance shop. As I said, they installed the VB in about 2 hrs, although I think they estimated 3 initially. I had the TC installed by another transmission shop when I got the transmission rebuilt, but wouldn't recommend them. If I had it to do over, I'd had Hurricane do the whole job. 'Course, I haven't heard what Bill thought of this shop. I know the first one I dealt with, Bill agrees not to recommend them!

Guys,
I want to take a moment to thank Sean Flanagan for building our website, and Kevin Arts for supplying the means for it.
Sean the website looks awesome! #ad

Anyone else excited about Sunday?

Stakeman - You know it!!!!!... Sundays gonna be a blast.

Banshe - Are you trying to take away from our fun??? Aren't we supposed to be screwing up the install... . oops. . did I say that out loud? I mean doing a custom install. LOL

Hey Kat, will the EZ fit a 2001? I got a buddy w/a 2001 auto who's thinking about coming.

Pete

Kev,

I didn't want to take a chance with my transmission. I hear that thing weighs quite a bit, and with my luck I'd still been stuck under my truck when the transmission fell on my chest!!! The wife doesn't check on me too often when I'm working out there.

Actually, I was kind hopin' to get everyone onboard with the idea of supporting specific shops in the area. That way we could herd our Rams to folks that know what they're doing. I'd sure feel better knowing that the shop that's setting up my pump has done it before for other Rammers!

Weather Check!!!
So, do you remember a few years ago when we had that storm come up from the south (Arizona)? Was forecast for a couple inches of snow, then up to a foot, then when it was all over, we had 15 foot drifts out here. Notice the track of this storm moving in?

See ya Sunday

I wish you could make it. Sounds like there are going to be a lot enhanced diesels sitting in my parking lot. I will have to take some pics with the digital camera.

I was contacted by the maker of the "Turbo Diesel Life Saver" today. He was hoping to be able to make it to the meeting. He will be in Denver on saturday and wants to meet with me so he can give me some brochures to pass out at the meeting. Joe is going to try and make the next one.

This is getting to be fun. The only problem is going to be when we outgrow my location. We may have to rent the Pepsi center next! HA

I'll have an EZ for the 98. 5 to 2000 and then another EZ for the 2001's. I just have 1 of each, Brett and or Taylor are going to make an appearence last I heard (unless whether gets them).

I just hope the weather holds for me to get out and back myself.

All,

I had a great time at the meet and am looking forward to the next one. I got a lot of questions answered at this one. Thanx to Bob for use of his G-tech (yeh, I was pushing more than 215hp)and for help with the AFC star wheel. I'd read alot about adjusting the star wheel, but couldn't find. No one told me it was hid by a pipe plug! #ad

I got a couple of pointers for the ram air I'm trying to set up.

Who was the masked man in the Blue Ram that smoked his tires for a 1/4 mile? #ad
I wondered why he was wearing a racing jacket. Guess we found out why, huh!!!

Alex, can you send the email list out so we can contact others that were at the meet? Also how everyone chime in and post your signatures. It would help to associate names with the trucks we saw.

At the next meet, could someone bring their IR Temp gun? A couple of us would like to check accuracy of the pyro guage at lower temps.

Special thanks to those who made it all possible. Big A, K-Art, Stakeman, and Sean for the web site. Don't know who brought the chairs, but it sure beat sitting on the floor. KatDiesel, thanx for coming out and sharing your wisdom and that EZ thingie that didn't fit my 12 valver! #ad

I'd like to host the next one in Las Vegas and pay for everone's trip there. Problem is:
1. I don't have any money (bombing took it all).
2. I can't afford to rent a meeting place.
3. I can't get the time off work!!!
I guess it's the thought that counts though. #ad

Thanx
"Banshe" Bill
