I have a 2005 3500 SRW donor truck . I plan on using the complete running gear with exception of the front axle which will be a High pinion ford 60





I've done a 12 valve swap into a K30 regular cab . so I'm ok with the fabrication end of the swap . but being a Common rail I need to know what I need to keep from the Donor truck and maybe some ideas on how to make my cruise control and other functions to work



The receipient is a 1979 K30 crewcab silverado with A/C and cruise and power windows and locks
 
thanks for the reply, I really want to make the interior completely stock apearing I want no visual cues to the swap until I start it lol
 
Yeah I'm gonna use Autometer speed in my stock cluster so that should work out ok

is the transmission controlled by the ECM ??/ or do I need a stand alone transmission controller?
 
I'm judt wondering what inputs it gets from the "truck" opposed from the engine


I basically need a shopping list of things to remove from the donor because once I start pulling parts I wont have much time to remove things before I have to scrap it the Subdivision I'm in up here are a-holes so I cant keep it out side once I start stripping it
