Competition Sled Pulling Help

..... uuummmmmmmmm we stopped talking about the cam gear a few postst ago. We are back to bashing COMP now... .

I bet comp would use a torch :-laf

I saw Comp make the run and from what I saw he left pretty lazy

If he left like he did in Bowling Green watch out.

other than Comps run Truckfest was dominated by Fords Oo.

So your saying Comp comes out of the hole like a panzy????? :-laf :-laf :-laf

I like how Comp is optimistic, you know claiming he would run 8. 40's at Truckfest, but just like previously mentioned, he did'nt back it up. :(

I don't think anyone ran what they thought they would including me.

Even the people that live and race there year around had problems,so overall Comp did pretty well. I'm sure given the chance at a few more tries he would have hit his goal,I know I did.

You did great! Its always good to hear there was a record broke, but, are'nt we supposed to be bashing Comp and his skinny ***** legs here??

Oh sorry,Comp was picking on us street trucks and the dragster spanked me pretty easy in the semifinals :{

Nice job, Comp, another half a second and you will be back where you started with the junkyard engine, rev gain will prevail!!!! Oo.

Could someone explain what this event was? Was it Diesel vs gas? If so, how did the Diesels do?

You would have beat us if we had not found that pinched nitrous wire.....

(good story, huh?)

Lott, you are a true gentleman. And one hilarious person to hang with. Just to bad you like them ferds.

Mike,

please- if your gonna rip on someone -it'd be nice if you would get your facts straight..... The one that lost their timeslip was Keating, not Comp. . . .

Thank you.

We found that one. :p

:-laf :-laf But IT WAS LOST at first right??:-laf :-laf Glad ya found it, I'd be proud of that timeslip.

And NO torch was used. :p :-laf

Now back to Compy and his crane-like legs:p . Who wants to bet he can win a foot-race? Any takers? :-laf Maybe not... . it appears that since his legs are aerodynamically superior to ours, his rev-gain would put us back in the trailer:p ... .

I bet I can beat Greg in a foot race. We can have a "Skinny Leg Showdown"

Maybe i should Change My sig:
QUICKEST SKINNY LEGS ON THE PLANET
-AND SEXIEST TOO :p

What ya say Greg? Footrace in the ATL? I am smaller and a bit lighter, reckon that makes for more rev-gain? :-laf

I once asked Greg how he puts up with all the negative things said about him. He came back with a very positive answer. "It's all nothing but fun" I can tell you this, Greg is doing everything he can to win. I don't think that truck would be running at all or making any numbers except for him. He does get over zellous pushing his agendas, which makes him come across as arrogant. But you must give him some credit he has that truck running pretty good. I think it has some more to show. Good runs! Thanks

Not quite.

What is cute- is how most of the naysayers are silent after Greg went to Colorado, where people predicted he would run in the 9's, because of the high altitudes there, and he slammed an 8. 85.....

Now what would that time be down at normal altitude?

for the record, it's somewhere around 8. 40-8. 50. Kinda knocked the wind out of all the doubters sails. . . . . .

Congats Greg! And Congrats to Scott and Dustin as well!

No, it didn't knock the wind out of us doubters..... just proves a point. I wouldn't want to rub it in anyones face that is failing.

I believe it was someone in Georgia that ran just as fast @ a few thousand feet and @ 10 thousand feet. So the air theory is kinda out the window.

There has to be an excuse in there somewhere for why it didn't run faster... . just waiting to read it

For a guy that is on the "cutting edge" of technology and has a pro race engine builder ( that he takes credit for ) cant do any better than that... . I would hide my head in the sand too

I think Sleddy has this one right... ... pro built motor thats not any faster than the ole one... . go figure.

Keep on cheerleading RD..... its entertaining... . :-laf

To Quote a Dealer around here in CT, "There is no Beating Keating!" :-laf :D  I would love to see Comp 461 at the Diesel Nats (IRP) next year, Same Track, same Day, and same Density Altitude, running Keating Heads up.

Those Keating guys are good people, Taking time to talk to the fans! Most racers seem to be way too focused (that's being polite), or just rude towards the fans.

sbentz, Missed you at IRP this year, Please come back next year!!!! Moose

We had it in the plan, but the car had other ideas. It is like a woman, touchy and unpredictable. About the time you think it is all ready, it needs a new pair of shoes.

We have next year in the plan to go to Indy, or Muncie, wherever... .

Not taking any thing away from Keating, But if you are implying that we aren’t accessible to our fans, or that we don’t talk to people, you are severely misinformed. I have been racing on sponsorship deals for year, and we put on a very professional outing. You just don’t seem to make the right races to see this. Even more reason for everyone to show up at Atlanta

I have raced Keating on the same track, and the win light went on in our lane. That is all that maters. With the power our truck now possess, any time, any where, I will give you this statement of fact the win light will come on in our lane.

If you are trying to insinuating that a Bowling Green we were slower, the truth is we shut off on every pass, doing R&d on our new program, when the race was on, We turned up the wick and turned on the win light in a peddlefest. Just as I out qualified Dustin at Denver, it didn’t represent the potential of their dragster,

May be I’ll put it a little clearer, If both myself and Keating show up and run side by side at Atlanta, and neither breaks

WE WILL WIN THE DRAG RACE , and WE WILL SET LOW ET !!!!!!And one other note , with David Dunbar in charge , I will come to any of his races , I’m invited to .

Cool!!!
