Competition COMP = Banks "Type R" driver in '07

I got a call from a someone "in the know" who told me that it's official that Greg Hogue, a. k. a. COMP, will be be dragging the smokeless D-Max Type-R next year. It came out of both Greg's and Tony Stewart's mouth at Atlanta that he's out of the Dr. P ride, so this apprears to be the new gig. I guess it makes sense with all the Banks pushing we've seen over the last few weeks. Greg said that "No one will even come close to Banks"... . I guess we'll see next year!

If it is true that you are going be driving any of Banks trucks (dragster or road racer) be sure to send my regards to old Gale! And as I told you before, I will "believe when I see it" on him beating ANYBODY in DHRA Pro-Street, or a truck like Keatings' or Scheid's Rail Dragster. Also, another thing he better be thinking about is what all those guys will be doing in the "R&D" departments over the winter! I know I am not as "smart" as old Gale, but let me make a little "prediction" here right now,... ... ... ..... ALL of those trucks including Scheid's Rail Dragster will get FASTER by the start of 2007!

And you can take that to the "Bank(s)" Man,... ... did I REALLY say that?
