Well guys I got my Comp Box installed and I must say what a difference. I didn’t hook up the pump wire being I have an auto stock transmission, but you can still notice a big improvement.
I can only imagine what the 120HP feels like. I’ll find that out when I get my transmission upgraded after the box is paid off and get some rust spots fixed under the driver side door.
Overall the complete install took about a hour & 1/2 . The hardest part was getting wires through the firewall because I already had my egt, boost & pyro installed through there and I had to take my time to enlarge the hole and not cut any wires or tubing. Then the 2 connections to the sensors were fun to get hooked back up (being double jointed would have helped a lot). From reading all the posts I ran the ground directly to the battery. Overall I was very surprised how easy the install went.
So I went for a test drive and noticed the difference on level one, so I put it up to 5 and got on it and saw a small cloud of smoke which brought a huge smile to my face… :-laf :-laf Now I just keep it on 1 just to get a little power on the interstate and to see if it will help out with fuel mileage…
