I'm getting a real bad shudder / stumble with my Drag Comp in colder weather. I want to see if its timing related. Can I still run the Comp with the data port unplugged and still get the benefit of the boost fooler and fuelling, just no timing?

With a Drag Comp, I'm assuming that the pump wire is definitely tapped. If the pump wire were disconnected and the data link unplugged, you would be left with a boost fooler - timing and fueling would be stock. If you unplugged the data link with the wire tap still connected, I don't know how fueling would be affected. Maybe someone else with Comp expertise will help on that scenario.

Yep, I was hoping to leave the wire tapped and map sensor in place, just no data port. I was thinking fueling curve would remain stock but the fueling changes affected by the wire would still be intact. Just a guess.
