diesel shop name??

Great Horn Stories!

I just bought a BX24 TLB Kubota and could not be happier, 3 cylinder Diesel 24 HP with HST drive and fun. . The machine can do anything I have thrown at it. I removed a big alder stump with the back hoe and mowed the grass. Had to pull the stump out with the truck as it weighed more than the tractor. It does take some time, but it gets the job done. :-laf I have 3. 4 acres.

congrats!!! you'll love it! for its size it has quite a bit of power!! did you get a mower deck with yours?

NOTE check the heigth of your garage doors and the top of the ROPS I smacked the siding the first week we got ours but we've since removed the rops to get under all the trees so its not a issue anymore.

Ouch, that sucks no matter what color the equipment is. I understand why they are there, but the first time you rip off one of the lights they like to put on them now, or catch a tree branch with your head anyone will be likely to rip them off.

Speaking of the ROPS. I wedged mine in the garage door opening the first 10 mins I had it. Couldn't understand why the tractor wouldn't go in the garage:confused:. I also did it a couple of time going in to the shed not thinking. Mine has the two piece ROPS so it's always folded in half. :)

I really appreciate all the info. Keep it coming. So far... Nothing Runs Like a Deere.

24 valver, what is the difference between the 2320 and the 2520. They seem to have very similar specifications.

I'll chime in on the Deere 2320 and 2520 differences... engine size, a couple of horsepower, and hydraulic pump capacity.

Essentially, both tractors share the same, basic frame. Wheelbase is about 2-1/4 inches longer on the 2520. It boils down to the 2520 having considerably higher power steering and implement hydraulic flow (5. 6 gpm vs. 10. 5 gpm). This additional hydraulic flow will make a difference for loader speed.

IC Smoke,

Yes I got the 54" finish MMM and have used it for 8 hours mowing my knee high grass.

My shop door is 12' high, so no problem as long as I open it all the way. I have found a few tree branches that are lower. :-laf

I dug out a huge alder stump with the back hoe. Could not pull it with the tractor as it weighed more than the tractor. But the truck did it with no problem. Two Diesels working together.

I bought a John Deere 2305 earlier this year. I love it! I got the 62 inch deck and the FEL. I mow approximately 7 acres. It handles well enought I can mow the yard around the house with it and the only trimming i do is with the weed eater. Oh yeah, I can mow everything I have on a single tank of diesel (the most I have put in is 4 gal). And yes... Nothing runs like a Deere!
