I'm really curious about these lights also. Not all that bad of a price when you considered what is needed for the "sport" headlight conversion.

I went out to the site and looked at it. The price is not bad. Then I read all the reviews and the majority of them were about the good technical support, the ease of shopping on line, and careful the product was packaged and shipped. Nothing about how good the product is. I am still interested in the LED lights and will be waiting to see what users have to say about it.

For what it's worth, I too have a Gen 2 truck with the horrible headlights and want to do something with it but, I drive for a living at night and I see a lot of the halo headlight set-ups and I'm not impressed. I see them coming up on my left and the lights seem very bright in the mirror but as I watch them pass and see how much these lights are lighting up the road - it's marginal at best. Now, some of that could be that they're not properly adjusted.... The class 8 truck I drive has LED headlights and they are wonderful. If I knew for certain I could replace my headlights on my Gen 2 truck and get equal performance, I'd be all over it but I doubt these are the answer. Maybe someone will buy some and let us know.....

I replaced my headlights with ones from Genos, wired in relays to protect the headlight switch and have zero complaints about how much light they produce. I do a lot of night driving and hate the chintzy after market equipped cars and pickups that are on the road.

Another interesting idea with the HID replacements. As anyone done this, and is it "plug & go" ? I like LED's, but everything I have read boils down to "great" lights, very bright with low amp draw, but they just don't reach out far enough like a good halogen bulb. I did find that Hella now has a "2.0" version of the 9004 halogen bulb that doesn't look too bad at a fraction of the cost of LED's or the retro shop lights.

I have to question how well they are going to work. The OEM LED headlights for a Freightliner Cascadia are around $900.00 PER SIDE and are manufactured by Truck Light. Those work properly. They have some serious research and development behind them along with a generous warranty period.

A pair of LED headlights for $400.00 or so with a year warranty raises my eyebrows......
