Time to Pull Out

OE is removing unsafe attachments automatically, even when not wanted.

The latest was an . eml file, which was a refernence article I wanted. Was from the ACI, American Concrete Institute.

Presume it is based upon the type of file received, and I often do not have a choice, depends upon what the sender uses

Is there away around this, to at least get the option for me to choose? OE 6. 0 on Windows ME OS.

In OE pull down the tools menu to options, then click on the security tab and uncheck the "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus. "

Just like Steve said and you shouldn't have to have the e-mail resent to you, the attachment in the original e-mail should now be available. I think this a default setting when OE is installed.
