Computer Reset

Just got me AFE stage 2 air intake and hopefully will be installing it tonight. So now I'll have straight pipe and air intake.



My question is how do I reset the computer? On my gasser all I had to do was disconnect the battery. Is it the same on a diesel? Do I have to reset it... if so which battery?

Maybe I'm misunderstanding? Are you asking if you have to reset the CPU for the filter change? The answere would be no and disconnecting the batt wont clear codes either.

Yes that's what I was asking. I'm used to adding things to a gasser and resetting the CPU to clear it to recompute the new addition. I guess its different with a CTD.
