Was using the truck to haul sand and morter and we mixed a load that was a little sloppy. When we poured the batch it splattered everywhere including on the paint of my truck. Obviously I didn't get it all off when it was still wet and now i have some small concrete spots on the truck. I have washed it 4 or 5 times, used bug and tar remover and even had it waxed... nothing seems to remove the concrete... any suggestions?

I would send my wife or girlfriend by the local readymix plant, the one with the cleanest trucks, on a rainy day when they weren't too busy, and tell her to put on a long, woeful-looking face. Usually somebody will volunteer to help her out. (I've cleaned several over my 25 years in the industry. ) I would prefer to see some type of citric acid based cleaner used rather than the harsh hydrochloric acid or inhibited muratic that is used by the drum around these plants. I know I don't need to say, "Do not use any kind of abrasives and rinse well". Ed
