Confused about twins!?!?!?

I'm wanting to upgrade my Single Super B to the BD twins kit, egt issues while towing. I called the shop that installed the Single to have them order the rest the the kit and set up an appointment to get it done. They told me that the kit wouldn't work with the turbo I've got and I'd have to order the complete kit. I read on the BD website that the Single B that I have is used in the kit, I'm confused. The shop also said that the pump and injectors I have wouldn't work either and that I'd have to replace them with the FASS system, that really flustered me. Am I missing something here? Someone please help!!

Whatever shop your talking to is looking to have a pay day... . at your expense. The twin turbo upgrade kit for your truck is BD part # 1045315. It includes everything needed to upgrade, minus the Super B. Jegs has the best price on it. You have plenty of power…. no other mods needed.

You can use your single in the BD twin kit. All you have to do is reclock the housings and get the adjustable wastegate control.

Thanks for the replys. I called Jegs and ordered the rest of the kit. I would call Poole, but being I already have one of the BD twin turbos I'm going to stick with them. Thanks again, Mike

Olee Poole can build you a killer set. My setup is awesome on spool up, EGT's and killer power to the tire. I would contact him and see if he could be of assistance.

Having seen AKRAMS BD Twins I have to say that look really good. Very high quality craftsmanship and very clean look.



If it where me I would be talking to Mr. Poole, but I don't own the top turbo in the BD setup already.
