25 gallons water = 200lbs

*162 degree temp increase = 32400 BTU

divide by 0. 5 hours and you get 64800 BTU/hr

Assuming that this thing is no more than 50% efficient, probably less, then the input is at LEAST 129600 BTU/hr

OK TMTT and TQT, I imagine that you guys are organizing this event and that a lot of time, work and $$$$$$$$ is going into it and I think it should only be fair for everyone to chip in.

Since you guys know roughly what the tab is running may be can give us an idea what the entrance fee will be.
