Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Not going to go crazy, and want to add some moderate mods to the truck that won't void warranty... .
Here are my initial thoughts:
1. New Shocks: Bilsten OEM Fronts (when the 2500 diesel specific shocks are out) + Rancho RS9000X Rears (to keep the rear a little stiffer for towing / loads) and soft for everyday...
2. Guages: Like the idea of the XMonitor but seems a little pricey... other wise, the ISSPro... OEM Color Guages in a 3 Pilliar Mount...
- When Adding a Box, do I have to worry about compatibility?? Dont
want to buy guages twice...
- How much does it cost to install pilliar + 3 Guages? Any recommends
in SoCal?
3. Light Bar and 2 6" Lights... any recommends? Just want a simple / small bar... not an Australian Kangaroo Roo Bar from hell... also need it to be compatible with the tow hooks, not willing to part with those...
4. Dying to get a perf box, but refuse to void 95k miles of my warranty... . at some point I'll break down and get one... . so far like the edge ez... and even the banks as it's an all in 1 package... thought most people hear seem to hate banks... makes me a little hesitant...
Also, The antilock breaks on these things work awsome... . had to make a full boat emergency stop becasue some hag in an Escalade pulled right in front of me when I was going 50mph... . thing stoped like a champ... sure it was pretty awsome sight... . missed her by 3"... almost drove up a curb and through a fence/tree combo...
