Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Considering making a bell housing inspection hole.

I need to check out some noise issues on the newly installed clutch and transmission. I'm thinking of using a 4" hole saw and making a inspection hole on the bottom of the bell housing.



Any body tried this, any unexpected results (read problems).

I wouldn't make a 4" but I would make an inspection hole at least large enough to put somekind of borescope in that you buy from JCWhittney.

I think a 4" is too big and would make it weak.
