Just up graded to BD vb/tc and 4" exhaust from turbo back. I'm considering adding more pwr. Since most plug-ins are pretty new I'm having a hard time deciding on whose product to buy. The idea of dialing in different pwr levels sounds appealing. I'd like some input from some of you that have BOMBed and have had them for a while and how they have preformed. I dont think I'd consider an injector upgrade since I'm not a hot-rodder Just want the extra pwr when I need it.

I just put new PW injectors in my 93 this weekend. Didn't do it to hot rod, just to have more power when needed, mostly to pull a travel trailer. I like to grin at the Ford drivers as I pass them going up a hill pulling the trailer!

POWEREDGE, thats all you need.
Make sure you get gauges too. They are a not optional this box makes serious power and in Hot stage 3 egts climb fast. What I like about it is that you can turn it off.
Here is how I use mine, I leave it off 90%of the time and it has no effect on anything. Level 1 is good for towing, egt,s are at safe levels, Level 2 seems to get lost in the shuffle and I dont use it much, I usually keep it set on Level 3 but turned off and then with a touch of the button 100hp and you will not get beat by your buddies anymore. I do have the hotter version, and this is about all the power you can use with a stock clutch and more than you can use with a stock auto. , but thats the beauty of it, you have 3 choices of power. Try it, you will like it.

arar, can you get to the event in Tulare this weekend?

I will have the new Performance Edge device there for you to try. We will have a few Power Edge boxes too. You should consider the 275 injectors, they aren't much money. I'll be installing a set or two #ad

arar, I would have to agree with one of the Edge Products. I highly recommend 275 hp injectors. I say this because it has always felt like my truck was starving for fuel above 2500 rpm. With the 275's it just doesn't feel that way anymore. I say feel because I didn't get a base line prior to upgrading my truck. Now I can accelerate and not have my foot stomped to the floor without the truck feeling like it needs more fuel. I also made a post a few days back with a dyno sheet. The standard Power Edge gave me an increase of 96. 8 hp in level 3 and 80. 6 in level 2 with 275 injectors and that is at the wheels. Pretty Impressive for a little electical box.

BTW, I am a '70' Lodi High graduate.

Shouldn't rule out injectors, though... EASY to put in, fun, too !
Lucky you, getting to hang out with HVAC. You won't regret it !
