We're considering moving to a 5th wheel toy hauler in the future. I've seen the enormous ones but don't need that. I'd like to stay around 30-32' (still have to get it in the parking spot!), preferably with a slide and garage, though the garage is not that important. Our friends just got a Dune Chaser with the slide in the master bedroom and it's nice but it's a triple axle and pushing 40'. We would be hauling at most a Polaris Sportman 500 quad, a DRZ 250 bike, and maybe two kayaks.

Any suggestions on toy hauler brands? Who, if anyone, makes or made something like that? Used is fine but I'd like to keep it 10 years old or newer.

you wont find one in that length that has a separate garage. Is there any RV shows in your area? Great place to look at several different makes and models without driving all over

We do get the rv shows fairly frequently. I didn't recall seeing one this size with a garage in the past so it does not surprise me. We can certainly do without the garage but it would have been nice if someone did do that model.

Raptor makes one in that length with a kitchen slide and seperate garage space. Our friends have that model and love it. They put 5 quads in the garage by standing them up.

We sold our triple axle 36' Attitude last year and I don't miss it at all. We're planning to replace it later this year with a shorter 2 axle version. The gargae is a must have for us now.

Bob V - that trailer is sold as a 32' trailer I believe. The 35.6" is the complete length of the trailer from front cap to the tail, not pin to tail or the trucks rear bumper to tail. Our friends have the 300MP and it is much shorter in length than our former 36' Attitude.

I wish there was one standard measurement for all trailers. Every MFG has there own ways of measuring; drives me nuts.

They're all longer overall than what's posted on the side. Like I said, there should be some sort of standard point of measure so the MFG's can't juice their lengths.

Same goes for the weight. I've bought two different TH's since 2006 and none of them were close to what was posted on the kitchen doors.

The OP wanted a 30-32' toy hauler, I assumed that was actual length, not advertised. Like I posted before actual 32' trailers would only have less than 22'living space with just a 10'garage. There are lots in that length that combined living and garage area, and it would be the best use the limited space.

What is the "normal" way to measure a 5er? I'm guessing from back of box to the furthest point forward on the front of the box? Or does the pin usually stick out further like the tongue on a TT?

Mine measures from back to front including the extended pin box. Its the length that it is stated to be 37'9" The numbers they come up with are model numbers and have no berrying on the length. As stated 37/9 mine is #365 FLTS. Front living room with Twin Slides.

Not with toy haulers. I just texted our friends with the Raptor 300MP and there sales slip says its a 30' trailer but measures closer to 36' when going from the front cap to the tail end.

Every MGF measures differently.

Our Attitude was tilted as a 36' trailer but actually measured out much longer.

Sounds like they might measure not counting the part that hangs over the truck.
