2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission control arm ???

has anyone replaced only the factory control arms? and if so, what with?? I have seen them somplace but they were part of a kit if I remember right. anyone know??

I wanted to replace the factory control arms also,but could not find any that were offered for a non-lifted truck. I went with a kit from Tuff Country that had minimum lift but some nice components,including thicker tubular ( stronger ) control arms .

Well, I have a full lift kit, a Skyjacker 2 1/2 Double Flex kit, which includes all 4 new (tubular) control arms with Heim joints on both ends of each control arm. I don't know if Skyjacker or a retailer would be willing to sell just the control arms by themselves, but you could call Skyjacker and ask.....

Call Skyjacker directly. I've always had good luck with them selling individual components to me. With the heim joints in each end, maybe you could screw them all the way together and they would be close enough to stock. Just a thought. Maybe someone with the 2 1/2" kit could measure them for us. I'm planning on getting some 1 1/2" to 2" coils made for my truck and am thinking about replacing the control arms too. I have'nt called Skyjacker yet, but I'm sure I can get just the control arms.
