2001 XJ gas swap to 4bt cummins diesel

W150 all done.

Does any one know if the adapters in the bread trucks , that has a turbo 400 behind them can be used with a 4L60 , or 4L80 and will they work in a non slanted engine set up ???
Not 100% sure on the clocking of the engine (or even why), but I'm sure the transmission bells are the same. I'd be more concerned about flexplate/ flywheel/ converter concerns.

When I did my Ford conversion, the Chevy adapter was what I used. I installed the engine straight up and clocked the transmission, manual tho.

I didn't know those bread truck motors were clocked over. I have been kinda looking for something to put a 4bt in. I guess I need to be sure and get the complete motor and trans when I find one.
